Reporting directly to the Project Engineer or Foreman, the Construction Laborer assists with construction site tasks such as preparing materials, cleaning the area, and supporting skilled workers such as masons, carpenters, and painters to ensure the smooth and safe execution of the project.
Principal Duties
- Lift, move, and arrange materials at the construction site (cement, sand, steel, wood, etc.).
- Help with mixing cement, making mortar or concrete.
- Help masons, carpenters, electricians, and other skilled workers.
- Clean and maintain order at the construction site.
- Operate simple equipment and tools as needed.
- Follow safety rules at work.
- Assist in setting up and taking down equipment and scaffolding.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or foreman.

- Perform daily equipment inspections before and after use.
